We loved hearing how you celebrated the tenth International School Meals Day in March 2022.
The success of the day depends on as many people as possible getting involved and we want to have a wide range of interesting things on our website and on Twitter. As soon as you have something to contribute (you don’t have to wait until the actual day!) please send it to us.
The most recent International School Meals Day was on Thursday 9 March 2023.
It was the 11th ISMD, with the theme ‘Our changing food – methods, menus and meals’.

In previous years a number of schools in the USA and Scotland were linked through “Connecting Classrooms” in our respective countries. The first ‘meeting’ of the schools took place on ISMD and the topic discussed was school food related. As the relationship develops a broader range of subjects and interests will be covered as our schools learn about the similarities and differences between our two countries.
